Model Z.66 (ISOCOAT)

The use of insulating pads, model Z.66 (ISOCOAT), as thermal insulation on plasticisation cylinders ensures a significant reduction of thermal radiation towards the external environment and the machine's structures. This allows the operator to work in favourable environmental conditions while protecting them from potential risks of accidents due to accidental contact with high-temperature areas. Similarly, this thermal insulation protects the remaining parts of the machine from high temperatures.

APPLICATION

  • Insulation of plasticisation cylinders
  • Insulation of valves and flanges
  • Insulation of high-temperature motor parts
  • Insulation of furnaces and tanks subject to high temperatures

ADVANTAGES

  • Reduces electrical energy consumption for cylinder heating by approximately 30%
  • Excellent thermal insulation
  • Non-flammable
  • Non-toxic
  • Maintains its characteristics at high temperatures
  • Uniform and rapid heating

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Outer fabric made of high-temperature fiberglass, up to 500°C
  • Inner insulation made of high-temperature fiberglass, up to 500°C, with a standard thickness of 18 mm
  • Closure with safety buckles that facilitate the installation and removal of the insulating pad
  • Other types of closures available upon request

Attention!

The use of ISOCOAT insulating pads increases the surface temperature of the heaters. Therefore, a reduction in the maximum specific load of the power of the heaters is recommended (0.5 W/cm2 for mica heaters model Z.32 and 1W/cm2 for ceramic heaters model Z.41).

For specific requirements, please consult our Technical Office.

We reserve the right to change technical specifications.
